Jim Herbert has held various roles in the technology industry since 2007. Jim began their career as a Director at Zetman and then held a Digital Adviser role at VFS Global in 2017. In the same year, they took on a Director role at Winchester Technology Partners and a Board Advisor role at Greenlight Commerce. In 2019, they became an Advisor to the Board at AyataCommerce. In 2020, they were appointed Senior Vice President & General Manager EMEA at BigCommerce and then Vice President & General Manager EMEA in 2021. In 2022, they became an Investor at aisle 3 and in 2023, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Patchworks.

Jim Herbert attended Loughborough University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computer Science.
