Khalena Wickstrom is an experienced educator specializing in science and environmental education. Currently serving as a Science and Health Teacher at Partnership Academy since January 2022, Khalena previously worked as a Garden Educator at Community Roots Academy Charter School from July 2019 to April 2023. Between January 2015 and July 2019, Khalena held the position of Head Naturalist at the Los Angeles County Office of Education, where lessons focused on experiential science for 5th and 6th graders. Earlier roles include Field Naturalist at the Orange County Department of Education and Program Lead and Instructor at Thousand Pines Christian Camp, where Khalena contributed to science education and staff training. Khalena's career began as Adventure Director at CAMP MEN-O-LAN, overseeing adventure programming and staff training. Khalena holds a Master's in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and a degree in Environmental Education from Slippery Rock University.
