Tristan Lamonica

Director Of Communications, Analytics And Digital Strategy at Parliament of Canada

Tristan Lamonica has a diverse work experience that spans various sectors and roles. Most recently, they served as the Director of Digital Strategy, Analytics, and Data Sciences at the Parliament of Canada, a position they held since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Digital Strategy, Analytics, and Data Sciences at the same organization from November 2019 to October 2021. Tristan also held the role of Advisor in Digital Strategy, Informatics, and Analytics from May 2018 to November 2019 and worked as a Data Scientist from May 2017 to May 2018.

In addition to their work in government, Tristan has pursued a career in academia. Tristan is currently a Professor at the University of Ottawa since September 2022. Prior to this role, Tristan worked as a Teaching Assistant from May 2017 to October 2021 and held various positions within the University's Senate, including Executive Committee Member from April 2018 to September 2019, Council of Undergraduate Studies Member from September 2017 to September 2019, and Senate Member from May 2017 to September 2019.

Tristan has also been involved in political campaigns and organizations. Tristan served as the Lead for Special Projects at the Liberal Party of Canada from August 2021 to September 2021 and was part of the Digital Team for Trudeau's 2019 Campaign from August 2019 to October 2019.

Earlier in their career, Tristan gained experience as an Assistant in the Government of Canada from July 2015 to November 2015 and as a City Hall Summer Intern at the City of Ottawa from June 2014 to September 2014. Tristan also worked as a Social Media Content Coordinator for the Ottawa Eco District from December 2013 to April 2014 and as an IT Summer Assistant at Maple Leaf Strategies from May 2013 to September 2013. Tristan began their career as a Summer IT Student at the Brewers Association of Canada from May 2012 to September 2012.

Tristan Lamonica obtained a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Ottawa from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, Tristan completed a Bachelor's Degree in Communications at the University of Ottawa from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tristan also holds certifications in CPR and AODA, although the institution and dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
