Marc Slavec has been working in the tech industry since 2008. Marc began their career as a Summer Intern at Energie Steiermark AG. In 2013, they joined the International Catrobat Association (non profit free open source project) as a Senior Member of the iOS team of Catrobat, a visual programming language and set of creativity tools for smartphones, tablets, and mobile browsers. In 2014, they took on the role of Student Assistant at Graz University of Technology. In 2016, they joined Parkside Interactive as a Software Team Manager and Staff Software Developer.

Marc Slavec obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Telematik (Information and Computer Engineering) from Technische Universität Graz in 2014, following their attendance from 2010-2014. Marc then went on to obtain a Master's Degree in the same field from Technische Universität Graz in 2016. Before attending Technische Universität Graz, Marc attended BG/BÂÜÀòÂÒÂ× HIB Graz-Liebenau from 2001-2009.
