Xuewei Chen is a Data Scientist at QuartzBio, part of Precision for Medicine, since November 2018, specializing in managing and analyzing large volumes of clinical and biological data using R, bioinformatics, and statistics. Responsibilities include processing flow cytometry data, generating analysis reports and standard SAS datasets, and improving workflow efficiency through independent development of R functional scripts, resulting in significant time savings and increased productivity. Prior to this role, Xuewei completed a Master's degree in Bioinformatics at Georgetown University and an undergraduate degree at Xiamen University. Experience also includes advanced proficiency with gitlab and docker environments.
