Tom Farrell

Risk Consultant at Paragon Risk Engineering

Tom Farrell, E.I.T. is an accomplished risk consultant currently employed at Paragon Risk Engineering since June 2022. Previously, Tom served as a project engineer at Roederer Estate, where a custom energy generation and storage solution was developed to address power outage risks, in addition to aiding in permit acquisition for a public water system and wastewater discharge compliance in California. During academic tenure at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Tom actively participated in the American Society of Civil Engineers' water filtration competition and won first place at the Air and Waste Management Association's Environmental Challenge International for traffic problem solutions in Quebec City. Practical experience includes an internship at Clean Earth and a position in pool service at Moyer Indoor Outdoor, supplemented by significant research contributions to algae biofuel studies funded by the US Department of Energy. Tom holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo (2017-2021).
