Francesco Garrone

In-space Propulsion Systems Engineer at Pangea Aerospace

Francesco Garrone has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2014 as a Sailing Instructor at the Circolo Vela Bellano. In 2016, they took on a similar role as a Sailing Instructor at the Wexford Harbour Boat & Tennis Club. In 2017, they participated in the Introduction into Finite Element Athens Programme at the Technische Universiteit Delft. In 2019, they joined the ESA Academy for the Standardisation Training Course, and also worked as a Mechanism, Test and Verification Engineer for the UNOOSA DropTES StELIUM project. In 2020, they were an ExoMars 2022 System Engineering & Verification Support at the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, as well as a Thermal & System Engineer for the Space Mission Analysis and Design course at the Politecnico di Milano. Francesco is currently an In-space propulsion engineer at Pangea Aerospace, beginning in 2022.

Francesco Garrone completed a Bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano between 2015 and 2018, followed by a Master degree in Space Engineering from the same institution from 2018 to 2020.
