Franklin Heller is a seasoned technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Calspan since January 2023, Heller previously held positions at A3 Technology, Inc. as Software Engineer III, contributing to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Advanced Electronic Flight Strips database migration. Over a 22-year tenure at Lockheed Martin, Heller advanced from Senior/Principal Software Engineer to Associate Manager, overseeing development for the FAA's En-Route Automation Modernization system and leading a large team. Heller's earlier career included roles as a Scientific Programmer at Unisys/Sperry Univac and foundational programming positions. Heller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University.
