James Moon graduated from Pana High School in 1990 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Accounting at Eastern Illinois University. In 1995, James received a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He joined Pana Community Hospital's staff in 2010 as Director of Finance and in 2012 James was promoted to Chief Financial Officer.
