Doug Emmett, MHA, is a seasoned healthcare finance professional currently serving as the Assistant Chief Financial Officer at Bon Secours since May 2022, having previously held the role of Finance Manager for Saint Mary’s and Richmond Community Hospital, as well as Southside Medical Center and Southern Virginia Medical Center. Prior experience includes an Administrative Fellow at Bon Secours Mercy Health and Clinical Research Coordinator positions at both Duke University School of Medicine and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Doug's early career included work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Meridian Senior Living. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
