Yang Ji is an experienced professional in the field of computer science and security, currently serving as the Manager of Research at Palo Alto Networks since September 2019. In this role, Yang Ji leads the development of scalable analysis systems for malware detection and threat hunting. Prior experience includes a progressive career at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2019, with roles such as Principal Researcher and Technical Lead, focusing on operating system security and completing a Ph.D. thesis on efficient attack investigation. Earlier, Yang Ji worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics, contributing to the development of critical management systems for LTE/WiMAX base stations.
