Petr Kubečka, MCI, RTTP, is an experienced professional in the fields of technology transfer and materials science. Since April 2012, Petr has served as the Director of the Science and Technology Park UP and the Head of the technology transfer office at Palacký University Olomouc, focusing on the commercialization of technology, patents, and research outcomes. Previously, Petr was the CEO of Evkanet, s.r.o., a telecommunications and internet provider, from March 2005 to September 2013, and held roles at VSB Technical University of Ostrava, including Head of the Institute of Experimental Methods and Assistant Professor, where responsibilities included supervising six employees and teaching various topics within materials science. Educational achievements comprise a PhD in Tribocorrosion from CentraleSupélec, post-doctoral research in Nanomaterials at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, and a specialization in industrial property protection from the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic.
