Mudassar Naveed is an accomplished professional in the telecommunications sector with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director General of Strategy & Development at the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority since September 2021, Mudassar specializes in developing regulatory frameworks and providing strategic input on telecom regulation. Prior to this role, Mudassar worked as a Technical Advisor at Ufone, contributing to significant project developments including the Active Sharing business plan. Notably, Mudassar held various leadership positions at Ericsson from 2006 to 2018, focusing on technology leadership, IoT solutions, and customer engagement, while previously working at Nortel Networks and other organizations in roles related to RF design, systems engineering, and network planning. Mudassar holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance and Management.
