Hamish Lindsay's work experience includes roles at various companies. Hamish started their career as a Freelance Copywriter at Aussie Farmers Direct in 2016. After that, they worked as a Liquor Assistant at Dan Murphy's from 2012 to 2017, where they provided personalized sales advice to customers. Hamish then joined PC Case Gear as a Customer Service Representative from 2017 to 2018, where they utilized their knowledge of computers to provide tailored sales advice and support to customers. In 2019, they undertook a Data Journalism Internship at News Corp Australia, where they collaborated with a Data Science master's student to create compelling local stories using data analysis. Hamish also had the opportunity to publish a joint byline in the Sunday Herald Sun. In 2014, they joined Stevivor Creative | Stevivor.com as a Senior Editor, where they were responsible for game reviews, news articles, and coverage of industry events. Currently, they hold the position of a Support Analyst at PageUp, where they started in July 2021 and was promoted to Support Team Lead in June 2022.

Hamish Lindsay completed their Bachelor's Degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Melbourne from 2010 to 2015. In 2019, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Journalism at RMIT University.
