Luis Calado is a Senior Software Engineer at PagerDuty, beginning in January 2024, with extensive experience in software engineering roles at Talkdesk from June 2017 to January 2024, where positions included Principal Engineer and Staff Engineer. Prior to Talkdesk, Luis worked as a Software Developer at Bragafax from February 2013 to May 2017, focusing on the development and maintenance of the company's ERP system to comply with Portugal's SAFT requirements for electronic invoicing. Additionally, an internship at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) in July 2016 involved collaboration with Universidade do Minho and the University of Texas at Austin. Early career experience includes a role as a CNC Programmer at Leica Microsystems, where responsibilities included program creation and CNC machine operation. Luis holds a Licence Degree in Information Systems and Technologies and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science at Universidade do Minho.
