Laura Mendoza has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Laura started their career in 2003 as a Merchandise Associate at Wet Seal, Inc and later worked at bebe stores in the same role. From 2006 to 2013, Laura served as a Legal Secretary at Placer County Public Defender. In 2014, they completed internships at DrJays.com and Pale Violet. Laura then transitioned into the insurance industry, working as an Office Manager at Pacific Advisors from 2016 to 2019. Laura later took on the role of Recruiter at the same company until April 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Recruiting at Pacific Advisors and is responsible for managing the recruitment process and providing guidance to candidates.

Laura Mendoza has a diverse education history. Laura attended FIDM from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Professional Designation Merchandise Marketing. Following that, they continued their education at Sierra College in 2013 to pursue an Associate's Degree in Fashion Merchandising. Laura later enrolled in FIDM again from 2014 to 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Additionally, Laura obtained a certification in Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Partner from Guardian Life in August 2023. Prior to their college education, Laura graduated from Lindhurst High School in 2004.
