Delano Wood has a diverse work experience history. Delano started working as a Party Pro at BounceU in September 2014 and continued until April 2016. From June 2017 to August 2018, Delano served as a Summer Camp Counselor at the Hamden Recreation Department. In May 2016, they began working as an Umpire for the Hamden Fathers Baseball Association Inc. and held the position until August 2020. In February 2019, Delano became a Student Mentor at Southern Connecticut State University, where they worked until May 2020. Delano joined ACES (Comprehensive Educational Services, Inc.) in September 2020 as an Individual Aide and left in June 2021. Currently, Delano is an Associate Scientist at P2 Science, Inc., a position they have held since February 2022. Additionally, from June 2021 to March 2022, Delano worked as an Applications Laboratory Technician at the same company.

Delano Wood completed their high school education from Hamden High School from 2012 to 2016, earning a High School Diploma. Following that, Delano attended Southern Connecticut State University from 2016 to 2020. There, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology.
