William Maffe is a Senior Research Associate at Solazyme, Inc., a position held since June 2011. Prior to this role, William worked at Affymax as a Quality Control (QC) professional from August 2008 to December 2010, and at VaxGen as a Senior QC Analyst from May 2002 to June 2007. William holds a degree in biochemistry from the University of Wyoming, where studies took place from 1982 to 1985.
