Matt Machuga serves as the Senior Director of Engineering at Oyster®, overseeing an engineering department of 100 professionals and driving initiatives to enhance the hiring process globally. With a focus on collaboration with product and design leaders, Matt has successfully implemented career progression frameworks and revamped hiring procedures during rapid scaling. Prior experience includes roles as Engineering Manager at Auth0, where oversight of a team focused on product development was maintained, and as Owner/Software Developer at Ourtists LLC, offering custom web application services. Additionally, Matt has held various technical and managerial positions at companies such as Imagine Learning, Digitell, Glide Interactive, and newline Creations, contributing to product development and project management across multiple platforms. Matt earned a BS in Computer Science from PennWest Edinboro, specializing in human-computer interaction and web development.
