Julia Cathcart started their work experience in 2016 as an Administrative Assistant at Northeastern University, where they worked until 2022. In 2017, they worked at Cogito Corp as a Data Annotator for a year. In 2020, Julia worked as an Annotator at Brandeis University for a few months. Later, in 2021, they joined Brandeis University again as a Computational Linguistics Industry Coordinator until 2022. Currently, Julia is employed at Pryon as a Research Intern and became a Language Engineer in 2022.

Julia Cathcart began their education in 2011 at Northeastern University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics. Julia studied at the university until 2015. With a passion for language and technology, Julia continued their education at Brandeis University from 2018 to 2022, receiving a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics.
