Teresa Cavero has a diverse work experience. Teresa started their career as a research assistant at Universidade Federal de Pelotas from 1994 to 1995. Teresa then worked as a research assistant at Thorslunda Vaxthus from 1996 to 1996. Teresa joined the European Commission and worked at the EU Delegation in Malawi from 1998 to 2000. Teresa also worked as a research assistant at Oficina de Pol铆ticas P煤blicas, Presidencia del Gobierno from June 2003 to August 2003. Teresa then worked as a research assistant at KSG Harvard University from September 2003 to June 2004. Teresa then joined Oxfam Interm贸n as a development policy researcher from October 2004 to December 2008. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Research at Oxfam Interm贸n, where they are focused on analyzing the impacts of the crisis and austerity policies on poverty and inequality in Spain and other European countries, as well as studying fiscal policies. In 2011, Teresa briefly worked at Oxfam as the GROW campaign Research Lead from January 2011 to June 2013.
Teresa Cavero attended Universidad Polit茅cnica de Madrid from 1989 to 1996, where they received a degree in Ingeniero Agr贸nomo with a focus on Plant Production. From 1996 to 1997, they studied at Ultuna Universitet and obtained a Diploma in Rural Development. Lastly, from 2002 to 2004, they attended Harvard Kennedy School and earned a Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA) with a specialization in International Development.
