Previously, Moakes held the position of Group Chief Commercial Officer at heycar, where responsibilities included launching and scaling the UK's ecommerce and classifieds marketplace during a competitive period. Moakes has extensive experience with Centrica, serving as Managing Director for Local Heroes and in various roles that contributed to significant business growth, including Head of Commercial at British Gas. Moakes began a career in startup businesses, holding multiple management roles. Academic qualifications include an Executive MBA from London Business School and a BSc (Hons) from the London School of Economics.
