Piek Knijff is the founder and director of Filosofie in actie, a company established in July 2011, focusing on data ethics and digital ethics strategy. Knijff serves as a member of the Ethics Committee at Fiom and on the Supervisory Board of Bureau Ruimtekoers, as well as a guest lecturer at Leiden University and Radboud University, teaching courses on data ethics. Knijff is a podcast host for "Over informatie gesproken" and "Filosofie in actie," and a columnist for iBestuur, contributing numerous articles on data and technology ethics. Previously, Knijff co-founded IfThenElse.eu and worked as a contributing writer for DataEthics.eu. Educationally, Knijff holds multiple master's degrees in Philosophy, Dutch language and literature, and Education from the University of Amsterdam.
