Marcus Fitts is an accomplished Associate Creative Director at FleishmanHillard since December 2021 and an active author at Outside since March 2022. Fitts is also the Founder and Owner of GRIT USA, which focuses on advancing endurance and multisport development programs that promote socio-cultural change and increase participation among People of Color in athletics. From July 2011 to December 2021, Fitts served as a Freelance Multidisciplinary Designer, collaborating with notable clients such as lululemon and adidas. Previous roles include Employer Branding Creative at Wayfair, Communications Specialist I at Giant Food, and Senior Interactive Designer at World Learning, where Fitts led significant branding initiatives. Fitts founded the nonprofit District Triathlon to enhance participation in endurance sports within the D.C. area, held a position as Head Swim Coach at Northwestern High School, and has a B.F.A. in Advertising Design from Savannah College of Art and Design.
