Michael Ciaccio has extensive work experience in the field of engineering, specifically in the development of battery modules and packs for various industries. Michael has held roles such as Vice President of Engineering and Technology at Eagle-Picher Corporation, Director of Engineering at Corcom/Tyco International, and Director of Engineering at Navitas Systems, LLC. Additionally, they have experience in market development and global technology management at SABIC Innovative Plastics/GE Plastics. In their most recent position, Ciaccio served as the Vice President of Cell Engineering at Our Next Energy, Inc. Michael has also held various leadership positions at Gentherm, where they were responsible for the design, engineering development, and business development of components for automotive lithium-ion battery packs and battery thermal management systems. Ciaccio has managed global engineering teams and has expertise in areas such as mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and test engineering.
Michael Ciaccio completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1978 to 1980. Michael then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University from 1983 to 1984.
