Andrew Singer has over 18 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Andrew began their career in 2003 as a Research Associate II at Nabi Biopharmaceuticals, where they supervised and trained employees to independently operate a fermentation development facility, designed a fermentation facility that included scaled up fermentation and purification systems for commercialization of a vaccine product, and initiated, executed and reviewed cGMP processes for process consistency lots and process validation that will be used for FDA submission.
In 2006, they joined Wellstat Therapeutics as a Research Associate, Cell Biology, where they established and set-up a process development lab for bacterial growth and purification, performed upstream and downstream process development for a clinical vaccine, and established release criteria for a potential clinical vaccine.
In 2008, they joined The Bode Technology Group as Vice President Sales and Marketing, where they managed domestic sales efforts, as well as global marketing programs, drove all new program and product launches, and developed and managed strategic partnerships. Andrew also served as Sr. Product Manager and Marketing Manager, where they managed the marketing department and implemented several initiatives during a six month period in which Bode was transitioning management, created new marketing programs focused on driving market awareness of the organization's initiatives through a new scientific publication and presentation campaign, drove website traffic yielding significant improvements in web visibility, and developed 2013 marketing plan, including press release and program launch schedules.
Most recently, in 2022, they joined Othram Inc as Chief Commercial Officer.
Andrew Singer obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland between 1998 and 2002. Andrew then attended The Johns Hopkins University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Master of Science (MS) in Biotechnology between 2003 and 2007.
