Shilpa Patel has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Shilpa started their career in 2003 at Sanofi, where they worked as a Primary Care Sales Rep for three years before transitioning to become a Cardiovascular Hospital Sales Rep. In 2009, they moved to Amgen as an Oncology Sales Representative, where they stayed for five years. In 2014, they joined Spectrum Pharmaceuticals as a Corporate Account Manager before moving to Heron Therapeutics, Inc. in 2015. At Heron Therapeutics, they initially served as a Regional Account Manager for Southeast before being promoted to Director and finally to the role of Senior Director, GPO and National Accounts.

Shilpa Patel holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
