Michael Scheller has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Michael is currently working as a Sr. Technical Director at Ornua since January 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Sr. R&D Manager Dairy and Principal Scientist at Sabra Dipping Company from September 2016 to January 2020. Michael also worked at Ornua as a Technical Director from October 2013 to September 2016. Before that, they were a Research Scientist II at Schreiber Foods from July 2010 to October 2013. Michael started their career at Land O'Lakes, Inc. as a Sr. R&D Technologist from April 2007 to May 2010. Prior to that, they worked at Land O' Lakes, Inc. as an R&D Technologist from March 2003 to March 2007 and as a Food Technologist from December 2000 to March 2003. Michael began their professional journey as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota from January 1999 to June 2000.
Michael Scheller earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 2000. Michael later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Food Science from the same university and completed it in 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in May 2020.
