Charlotte Miles has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Charlotte began their career in 2008 as a Volunteer at Ashton Clinton Veterinary and Kennel Centre, where they assisted with animal care and observed surgeries. In 2009, they worked as a Silver Service Waitress at various hotels. From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Waitress and Bartender at Harvester. In 2012, Charlotte joined the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute as an Animal Technician, responsible for ensuring the health and welfare of animals used in scientific research. Charlotte then transitioned to the education sector, working as a Classroom Assistant at Castle House School Trust Limited in 2015. Charlotte also volunteered at The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership and Wolverhampton Grammar School during the same year. In 2014, they worked as a Waitress at The Aston. Since 2016, Charlotte has been associated with Ormiston Forge Academy, initially as a Trainee Teacher and then as a Teacher of Science. Currently, they hold the role of Assistant Head of Year 9.
Charlotte Miles completed their education in a chronological order. Charlotte began their academic journey in the year 2001 at Bedstone College, where they obtained their A Level certification in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths in 2009. Following this, they attended the University of Lincoln from 2009 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Bioveterinary Science. In 2015, Charlotte enrolled at the University of Birmingham and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (QTS) in the field of Science: Biology in 2016. Additionally, in 2005, they had a brief educational experience at The Knox School, although no specific degree was obtained during that time.
