Lahcen Qasserras serves as the TESOL Coordinator and Educational Leader at Carolina International School since April 2023 and also coordinates the Multilingual Learner Program. With a K-12 TESOL certification and a teaching license from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Lahcen has previously held roles such as Generative AI Model Training Specialist at Scale AI and Research & Administrative Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As Director of the Multilingual Learner Program at Charter Schools USA, responsibilities included directing ELL services, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and providing professional development to content teachers. Past experiences include high school teaching, ESL instruction, and administrative roles, alongside an extensive educational background with degrees in Educational Leadership and Curriculum & Instruction from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature from Ibn Tofail University.
