Pirun worked at Orion Health as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2012 onwards.

Prior to that, they were a Software Development Engineer II at Microsoft (Health Solution Group) from December 2007 to January 2012.

Pirun also worked as a Software Developer at Global Care Solutions from October 2005 to November 2007.

Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Developer at SoftControl.net Ltd. from October 2004 to September 2005.

Pirun gained project management and development experience as a Project Manager, System Analyst, and Developer at Crystalline Co.,Ltd. from November 1999 to May 2002.

Pirun started their career as a Civil Engineer at Building Construction Management Co., Ltd. in 1998.

Pirun Srimandakul has a diverse educational background. In 1992, they graduated from Triam Udom Suksa School with a High School Diploma in Science. Following this, they attended Chulalongkorn University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Civil Engineering.

Continuing their education, Pirun pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, which they completed from 2002 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Pirun has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include certifications such as "Statistics Foundations: The Basics" from LinkedIn in August 2021 and "Rhapsody 5 Professional," "Rhapsody 5 Associate," and "Rhapsody 4 Associate" from Orion Health in various years, showcasing their expertise in healthcare-related software solutions.

Furthermore, Pirun has earned the "Microsoft Excellence Award" from Microsoft in February 2010. Prior to that, they obtained various Microsoft certifications, including "Microsoft Certified Professional - Solution Developer" and "Microsoft Certified Professional" in 2001. Additionally, they hold a "Computer Application Specialist" certification from Thammasat University, which was obtained in 1999.
