Darren Lee is an experienced professional in continuous improvement, change management, and operational excellence, currently serving as the General Manager of the National Contact Centre and previously as Change Programme Manager at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children since February 2020. Prior to this role, Darren held the position of Continuous Improvement/Quality Manager at the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) from June 2016 to February 2020. At Inland Revenue NZ, from March 2008 to June 2016, Darren was instrumental in establishing a Lean Centre of Excellence and enhancing organisational culture in continuous improvement as Manager of Continuous Improvement. Earlier roles include Design Manager and Capability and Business Support Manager at the Ministry of Education, alongside experience as Programme Manager for the Student Loan Scheme between February 2011 and February 2012. Darren Lee is an alumnus of Kings College, Auckland.
