Marli Lombard

Marli Lombard has a diverse work experience with positions in various companies. Marli started their career as a Junior Assistant Lecturer at the University of Pretoria in 2010. In 2011, they joined Absa as a Cash Planner and worked there until 2013. During the same year, they also worked as a Project Manager at Impak. From 2013 to 2017, they held the role of Head of Supply Chain and Administration at Impaq Education. In 2017, they joined Optimi Learning as the General Manager of the Central Offering Group. Marli then moved on to become the Chief Product Officer at Optimi Learning from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Optimi Learning, starting in February 2022.

Marli Lombard pursued their education in a chronological order starting with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Industrial and System Engineering from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2006 to 2009. Following this, in 2012, they obtained certification as a Certified Supply Chain Professional from the Association for Operations Management, APICS. Later, from 2016 to 2017, they enrolled in the GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General.
