Rebecca Robinson DeSanta currently serves as Senior Editorial Development Manager at Optica, where responsibilities include supporting editorial activities for a portfolio of journals, collaborating with Editors-in-Chief, and analyzing trends to enhance journal metrics and reputation. Prior experience includes roles as Editorial and Special Projects Specialist at The Optical Society, where assistance was provided across various publishing tasks, and as a contributor for Radius Mag and That Music Magazine, offering insights and critiques on local events and music albums. Additional experience encompasses customer service and supervisory roles at EXPRESS, a management analyst position at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and an editorial role for a book. Rebecca holds a Master's degree in Publishing Science from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing from York College of Pennsylvania.
