Matt Stark is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and compliance. Currently, Matt serves as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer and General Counsel at Open Lending, a position held since January 2021. Prior to this role, Matt was the General Counsel, Senior Vice President, and Corporate Secretary at Forestar Group Inc. from October 2015 to January 2021. Matt's legal career also includes serving as Assistant General Counsel at David Weekley Homes and Senior Regional Counsel at KB Home. Earlier in professional development, Matt worked as an Associate Attorney at Stoel Rives LLP and as a Summer Associate at Brobeck Phelger & Harrison LLP. Matt holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Utah.
