Cory S. has worked in a variety of roles in the medical device industry since 2010. In 2010, Cory worked as a Packacking Co-op at L'Oréal. From 2012 to 2013, Cory worked as an R&D Co-op at Stryker. In 2014, Cory was a Research Fellow at Burke Research Institute. In 2015, Cory worked as a Product Development Engineer at Medyssey USA, where they designed custom instrumentation for spine surgeons utilizing PTC Creo and led regulatory approval projects to introduce new products to the U.S. From 2016 to 2021, Cory worked at b-ONE Ortho, Corp. as a Senior Engineer and Engineer, where they co-developed a total knee system from concept through 510(k) clearance and first surgery as part of an early-stage startup, and continued development to expand the line of primary knee options. Cory utilized SolidWorks to model orthopedic implants and instruments including the utilization of surface modeling to design anatomic articular geometry. Currently, Cory is a Sr. Product Development Engineer at Onkos Surgical.
Cory S. holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Biomedical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
