Jim Farrell is an accomplished attorney with significant expertise in environmental law and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel at ONEOK since March 2020, Jim leads a team focused on strategic legal advice regarding compliance and environmental issues amid the energy transformation. Prior roles include Senior Legal Counsel at ONEOK, VP of Environmental, Health and Safety at Devon Energy, and Senior Director, Environmental at Continental Resources. Jim's earlier experience encompasses legal counsel positions at Butler Snow LLP and the National Sea Grant Law Center, as well as law clerk roles with the EPA and a U.S. Magistrate Judge. Jim holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in English from the United States Naval Academy.
