Stefanie Lepore Burt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Stefanie is currently serving as an Assistant General Counsel at EQT Corporation since March 2020. Prior to this, Stefanie worked at Reed Smith LLP from October 2012 to March 2020, where they held various roles including Energy & Natural Resources Partner and Associate Attorney. At Reed Smith LLP, they gained substantial commercial litigation experience, representing clients in federal and state courts, and handling various legal tasks such as drafting pleadings, discovery motions, trial filings, and appellate briefs. Stefanie also has courtroom experience, including taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and representing clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

In addition to their law firm experience, Stefanie also has teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor at Duquesne University School of Law. From January 2014 to May 2017, they taught the Oil and Gas Law class, focusing on topics related to property law, contract and lease law, environmental law, and municipal law.
