Travis Silver has a lengthy work experience, starting in 1998 as a Lab Manager at Kidde Residential & Commercial. Travis then joined UTC Fire & Security in 2004, initially as a Project Manager, before transitioning to roles such as Product Development Team Manager and Engineering R&D Site Manager. In these roles, Travis took on responsibilities such as project management, team management, recruitment, budgeting, and addressing quality and production needs. Travis'smost recent position is as the Director of Product Development at OneEvent Technologies, which they started in November 2021.

Travis Silver obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah, completing their education from 1992 to 1997.
