Lily Dempster is the founder and CEO of One Small Step, a company that helps people take small steps to reduce their environmental impact. Lily has a background in environmental consulting and has worked with community solar startups, ethical superannuation, environmental charities and strategic communications firms. Lily is also a Young Social Pioneer, having been supported by the Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) in developing the mindset, resources, skills and methods needed to address complex social and environmental issues through enterprise.

Lily Dempster has a background in behavioral sciences and has attended BJ Fogg's Behavior Design Boot Camp and Nir Eyal's Hooked Workshop. Lily also has a Master's Degree in Energy Change (Advanced) from The Australian National University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Laws - LLB from The Australian National University as well as a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Political Science and Social Science from the same school. Lastly, they have a High School Diploma from North Sydney Girls High School.
