Carmen Perete is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in compliance and commercial law. Since January 2014, Carmen has served as a Compliance Coordinator and Legal Counsel at ONCE, offering expertise in commercial contracts, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and various legal areas including data protection and anti-money laundering. Prior to joining ONCE, Carmen held the position of Head of Technology & Commercial at Ashurst in Madrid from October 2001 to January 2014, where responsibilities included managing matters related to e-commerce, advertising legislation, and data privacy. Carmen began their legal career as a Senior Associate at Ariño y Almoguera, focusing on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and antitrust issues. Academically, Carmen holds a Licenciada en Derecho from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha.
