Sarah S. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in animal care, event coordination, and education. Currently serving as a Sales and Events Coordinator at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium since February 2014, Sarah excels in managing weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings while fostering strong client relationships and collaborating with various departments. Previous roles include Zookeeper in the Interactive Animal Programs department, where Sarah engaged and educated guests, trained interns and volunteers, and improved animal welfare programs. Additional experiences include Recreation Programmer for the City of Omaha, Youth Soccer Coach for HappyFeet Omaha, and various positions that showcase a strong background in customer service, wildlife rehabilitation, and environmental education. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife with a minor in Environmental Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, as well as training from San Diego Zoo Global Academy.
