Charlene Slapak Lambros, RN, MS, has extensive experience in nursing informatics and clinical documentation. Currently serving as the KP HealthConnect Inpatient Application Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente Information Technology since April 2003, Charlene specializes in clinical documentation and leads care plan and patient bedside education initiatives. Prior to this role, Charlene worked as a Nursing Systems Analyst at John Muir Medical Center, where responsibilities included implementing the A4 Healthmatics ED application in a level one trauma center. Charlene also held the position of Senior Business Consultant focused on Convergent Medical Terminology at Kaiser Permanente IT from July 1998 to October 2001 and began the career as a staff nurse in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University.
