Donald Appelmann has extensive experience in architectural design and project management, currently serving as Senior Architectural Designer at Olthof Homes since October 2020. Prior roles include Architecture Project Manager at Richmond American Homes from January 2018 to August 2020, where responsibilities encompassed design and construction drawing management across the NW Region of the United States. Donald held the position of Design Manager at Drees Homes and Drees Company from September 2004 to January 2018, focusing on site-specific construction drawings and design efficiency standards in various cities. As Director of Architecture at Oberer Companies from August 1997 to September 2004, Donald catered to the first-time buyer and move-up buyer markets. Earlier experience includes roles as a Commercial Project Architect at Luckett & Farley and Residential Designer at Drees Company. Donald holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Miami University.
