Douwina Bosscher has extensive experience in the field of nutrition and functional food sciences. Douwina started their career in 2004 as a Lecturer in Nutrition and Functional Food Sciences at the University of Antwerp. Douwina later joined Beneo as a Manager of Nutrition Research from 2004 to 2008. Subsequently, they worked at DSM Food Specialties as a Senior Manager of Nutrition Science from 2008 to 2010. Their career then led their to Cargill, where they held various roles including Oils and Seeds EMEA R&D Director from 2019 to 2023 and Global Nutrition Leader from 2010 to 2014. Currently, they are in the position of CTO and Director of Innovation at Oleon as of 2023.
From 1993 to 2001, Douwina Bosscher pursued their education at the University of Antwerp. During this time, they completed a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Biochemistry.
