Markis Barnes is an experienced Electrical Project Engineer currently employed at Teknor Apex Company since April 2020. Prior to this role, Markis served as an Electrical Engineer I at thyssenkrupp Elevator from August 2018 to April 2020, and as an Electrical Engineer at iQor from August 2017 to July 2018. Markis started a career in engineering as a New Programs Engineer at Diversity Vuteq, LLC from October 2016 to August 2017, and gained initial experience as an Enterprise Technology Intern at First Tennessee Bank during summer 2016. Markis worked as a Facility Manager at the University of Mississippi Department of Campus Recreation from June 2013 to May 2016. Markis holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mississippi, completed in 2016.
