Sophie Campana Tremblay has a diverse background in research and engineering. Their most recent work experience is at Olea Medical, where they started in 2016 as a Clinical and Scientific Research Engineer in the Clinical Affairs Department. In this role, they were responsible for MRI and CT clinical studies follow-up, methodology design, validation, and reporting, as well as data analysis and representation using R statistics and Python. Sophie also contributed to scientific communication and training, CE marking, and FDA approval documentation. Additionally, they served as the editor of the Olea Imagein magazine and the editor-in-chief of the "Spin to the limit" MRI book.
Before joining Olea Medical, Sophie worked as a Research Fellow in Biomechanics at LBM (Laboratoire de Biomécanique, Arts et Métiers ParisTech) from 2007 to 2012. Sophie also gained experience as a PHD Researcher at Arts et Métiers ParisTech and ETS (Ecole de Technologie Supérieure) from 2001 to 2004, and as a Research Engineer at LBM (Laboratoire de Biomécanique) and PSA from 1999 to 2000. Sophie began their career as an Associate Research Fellow at Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (ex GINTIC) from 1996 to 1999 and as a Development Engineer at Malichaud in 1994.
Sophie Campana Tremblay has an educational history that includes a PhD in Lumbar Spine Biomechanics and Imaging from Arts et Métiers ParisTech, which they completed from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Spine Biomechanics from the same institution from 1999 to 2000. Sophie also holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d'Aérotechnique, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994.
