Rupert Weterings is a seasoned professional in the insurance and reinsurance industry, currently serving as a Mentor at Lloyd's, advising start-ups in the Lloyds Lab, and as a member of the Global P&C Council at WBN. As the CEO and Founder of Allied Insurance Brokers, Rupert has established a significant presence in the corporate insurance sector across Angola, the DRC, Tanzania, and Mozambique since 2011. Additionally, Rupert holds the position of Group Commercial Director at Olea Insurance Solutions, overseeing operations across Africa. Education includes an Executive MBA from Antwerp Management School and a BSc in Management with Finance from the University of Birmingham, with ongoing studies in Entrepreneurship at ETH Zürich and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
