Daniele Paltera is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently serving as Lead Mechanical - Structural Engineer at OHB SE since February 2015, Daniele has developed and supervised the mechanical design of various satellite optical instruments. Prior roles include Structural Stress Engineer at Airbus Helicopters, where Daniele designed and validated aeronautical structures using metallic and composite materials, and Stress & Dynamic Engineer at THALES ALENIA SPACE, focusing on satellite response analysis and FEM analysis of components. Daniele's early career included an internship at THALES ALENIA SPACE, culminating in a degree thesis on composite materials for aerospace applications. Daniele holds degrees in Aeronautical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma.
