Wouter Schoenmakers is an experienced professional in the field of sustainability and energy management. Currently serving as Projectleider Energie at OFGV | Omgevingsdienst Flevoland & Gooi en Vechtstreek since January 2024, Wouter is also working as Adviseur verduurzaming vastgoed at Enodes since May 2023. Prior to these roles, Wouter was an Engineer at Liander from October 2019 to April 2023 and completed a Traineeship with Voort during the same period. Wouter's early career includes a significant tenure at McDonald's Corporation as a Crewlid from June 2013 to September 2019, as well as internships with Natuur en Milieufederatie Flevoland, Gemeente Almere, and Van Wijnen, focusing on sustainable innovations and energy transition tools. Wouter holds a Bachelor of Built Environment with a specialization in Sustainable Construction from Windesheim, completed in 2019.
